So you want to learn to drive?
The best feeling ever is after passing your test, when you drive a car for the 1st time – the freedom, the independence, and no more public transport or begging for lifts!
Here at Wokingham Driving School, we can help you get to that goal.
The lessons will be tailored to your needs. We will work at your pace, breaking down tasks into small steps that make it easy to learn.
By the end of our 1st lesson, you will have driven the car.
You will get personal online support for the Theory Test from your instructor as standard (a service not provided by many other schools).
Advice on how to practice between lessons and a parent information pack are also available on request.
Come and learn from a school who teaches other people to be driving instructors (we teach the teachers!).

Don’t worry if you’re nervous or unsure, many people feel the same when starting to learn to drive. We can work with you to overcome any fears and eventually you will feel comfortable, confident and in control of your driving.
Places are limited, so it is best to book in advance before you are wanting to start lessons, to ensure you get regular lessons at a time to suit you.

Useful tools for learners
The first thing you’ll want to do when learning to drive is to apply for your provisional license. This will enable you to book your theory and driving test and makes you eligible to get behind the wheel and start to learn.

Once you’ve started to learn, you’ll want to work towards passing your theory test. You’ll need to pass the theory test before you can book your practical and we recommend completing the test whilst you are still having practical driving lessons.

Once you feel ready to take your driving test, you’ll need to book it. There are varying waiting times for different regions, which you can find out when you start the booking process. Do this here.
