How can I get a driving license?

How many lessons will I need?

The national average (aged 17) is 44 hours +15 private practice, but the number you will need depends on many things. We’ll discuss your progress over the course of your lessons with us and make recommendations based on your projected learning curve.

Do I need to pass my theory test before I start learning to drive?

No, you can start learning with us before you book your theory.

Do I need to pass my Theory before I book my driving test?

Yes, this is required! You can book your theory test at https://www.gov.uk/book-theory-test.

Can you give some guidance to my parents on how to help me practice

Yes, they can sit in on a lesson to see what we do. We also provide a written guide on how to support learners, giving tips on how to help with the learning.

I want to be a Driving Instructor. What are the requirements?

You need to be over 21, have held a full driving licence for at least 4 years and have no more than 6 points on your licence.
